Author Topic: CPU Upgrade Advice  (Read 1683 times)

Your current hardware is plenty for whatever you can throw at it, there's no need to upgrade.

CPU:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
How is your i7 holding you back, that cpu is first rate.

its an old model of i7

i think you should downgrade to a i3. the lower you go in the number scale the better the performance. it takes 3 joules to run an i3 while it takes 5 or 7 joules to run an i5 or i7. joules are really slow.

very funny

No not that, I just get mad when people criticize  me when i ask for advice on something that has nothing to do with the topic, why is blockland forums full of judging people with a attitude and always try to make someone look like a starfish. I'm not mad from not getting advice, im mad when someone basically dose not post anything helpful to my topic but still they decide to post what ever tiny imperfection  they can see and  want to complain to me about. He did not ask for more information, range, or what i am looking for. He just said I hate it when people do this and complained about that and probably moved to the next topic to do the same thing so he can feel a little smarter and will  think he is by doing that. Hopefully you can understand the reason I get annoyed by that.
welcome to this grand place we call the internet.
