My mom was out driving and saw the funeral home by our house.  There were cars clogging the parking rock solid, cars parked in the yard, and about a mile of cars backed up BOTH SIDES of the highway trying to get inside the parking lot.  By the way, the visitation was supposed to have ended at 7:00 and it is 7:30 now.

One of my classmates, Lane (that was his real name), wound up in the hospital two years ago; he was open-enrolled from a rural area and one day driving to school he got broadsided by a semi when turning onto a big road.
He was ok, after about three months in the hospital.
