Author Topic: Port was working... now it doesn't...  (Read 1530 times)

I use to run severs when people can go in them... But now it has stop working... I think it is when I went to advanced config and messed the port up (Note: I didn't know what would happen)some how. That was alittle bit before I got Mission Editor to finaly work. Now, I want to run a sever were people can go in it and do stuff with mission editor like flooding. I don't have a router....

... Anoth dumb talk, its just I messed up the port thingy on advanced config, and I want to know what it was to beggin with. I used the tut and tried it, but nothing. I also have firewall and its off...

Someone please help!

If you have mission editor only YOU can use it on your server

...I don't have a router....
Then how do you have internet? Dial-Up?

Wow are you handicapped?  You DON'T need a router if you have a cable or DSL modem and your computer is directly connected to it.

Ok... Can someone please tell me the default ports on blockland's advanced config?

28000 to 28030. I don't remember if it's a range ingame, if it isn't, set it to 28000.

It starts at 28000 for the first player you want to be able to join, and you need to enable one additional port for each additional player you want to join.  So, for 32 players, 28000-28031.

I put 28020 for 21 players, still no one comes...

Does mission editor need some ports?
Oh and my window fire wall is off and won't turn on, is that part of something about this?

You need to manually configure your DNS, IP Address, Default Gateway & Subnet Mask (When you click in the Subnet Mask blank, it fills in automatically).

uh... what? didn't I have that right before because I could get connections from people before... and if not, what do u mean?
