What I think OP is saying should happen is why don't they just have TN to KY trucks instead of graphics card trucks.
idk how it works though so

I've unloaded bikes at work from a UPS truck and I wouldn't want my graphics card in that same truck just because it has a similar location.

FedEx is always mean to us. They've crammed packages into our MAILBOX before and left a TV in a very TV shaped box out on the driveway where anyone could steal it.

Well, take into account that you aren't the only one who orders stuff. Also some people have higher priority than you so they'll get their stuff first. If your package is with one of higher priority than your package than they are getting their package first.

I've had my stuff be in a town right next to me and then end up partway across the USA from my location.
