Q: Will there be an OSX/Linux port?
A: If there is sufficient demand, yes. The engine is made using SDL so it should be easy enough to port.

Q: What game engine does this use?
A: It uses a custom engine I made myself using C++ and SDL.

Blockland:
-worked on for 8 years, beta-tested for longer before going retail
-Badspot's main project
-Greenlit in a little over a year

Perennial:
-In development for ~3 years (according to Badspot.us)
-Minor side project
-Greenlit in a few months

That must have been rough.

Perennial went on Greenlight a little after Blockland did though.

so?

in which case your "in a few months" vs "a little over a year" is inaccurate?

Either there is some sort of miscommunication or you don't understand how time periods work.

Either there is some sort of miscommunication or you don't understand how time periods work.

The miscommunication is coming from "greenlit in a few months."

Blockland was put on Greenlight in Sept 2012, and Perennial in Dec 2012.

Perennial was Greenlit on Feb 19th of this year, and Blockland in August last year.

Perennial took longer to Greenlight no matter how you look at it.

Huh, my mistake. I misread and thought Perennial was put up in late 2013. Thanks for the patient reply even though I was being douchey.
