Author Topic: Gaming laptop suggestiongs  (Read 984 times)

I've been needing a new laptop for a while and specifically one made for gaming. I don't use a desktop because I travel a lot. I was just wandering if anyone had some suggestions.

My price range is anything under 2,000$

List of Suggestions:
Old Razer blade

Laptop!?

Why not PC?

Laptops can't carry as good GPUs and Cores because they are so small. Unless you get external GPU.

PC's, are boss with games.

That one is horridly overpriced

This is the one I have, not a great price still but a good chunk less

Wait for the lenovo y50 or if you want a bigger screen you can get the 17" MSI GS70. These are both extremely light and thin gaming laptops. Honestly, the only point of gaming laptops is if you travel a lot, so if you're going to end up getting a 10 pound laptop it's probably much more useful to get a $1200 desktop and $800 ultrabook.

um hi i didn't read the op but i certainly can tell you that gaming laptops are sucky and you're a dumbo for wanting one

in actuality, though, i wouldn't get a gaming laptop, just a high performance one. companies like alienware and such tend to amp up prices,y 'know

If I had the space, time, and environment I would definitely get a desktop. I have a small desk, dogs that chew anything, and travel a lot. If it  comes down to it I might as well just get a desktop but there would be some limitations.
