think i had my first appointment when i was six or something

panicked like a motherforgeter because they loving STRAPPED ME DOWN EVERY WHERE AND I COULDN'T SCRATCH MY NOSE SO WHEN I STARTED PANICKING THEY SAID IF I DIDN'T CALM DOWN THEY'D MAKE MY PARENTS LEAVE WHICH MADE ME EVEN MORE FRIGHTENED

You know how after a performance the judges hold up cards with numbers on them? At a dentistry office they basically pull all your teeth out, put them on display, then the judges hold up score cards.

It's really gruesome tbh, I can understand why there are so many people boycotting dentists nowadays :/

Idk about you guys but I go to the dentist like once a year just to make sure I don't have any cavities or anything. I consider it part of basic oral care, and I'm kind of appalled that people would avoid it entirely.
