use lights and stuff, it makes it easier to see the contours

Been playing around with it, but nothing quite seems to sit well with me.
Blockland renders shadows so awkwardly...

But don't worry, it's not going to stay as that stud texture.

It's one of the reasons why I might make an indoor area, eventually there's going to be more context to this build rather than a bunch of random jumps in space, haha ;p

Make your own textures then, copy a default ramp style but make it work well?

This is why maps went when we got shaders lol

I know it looks weird, and I'm trying to find a decent texture to replace it.

Already onto it...

it almost seems that having that slight grid is almost invaluable, part of me kind of just wants to make it the tile print...

For now the studs make a decent enough placeholder, they help me with construction and help flatten out flaws when testing.

Actually, going off that, it could work in a half-decent context, considering some wooden halfpipes/quarter pipes apply a similiar principle:

And the edges of the tile print would allow you to easily see the contours. Nice idea!

BTW here you go.

Two bikes. One for speed, one for jump height.

Nice!
I'll definitely put these to use. Thankyou!
