I know. That is true
isn't this thread supposed to be some sort of petition

Yeah lets do it! Lets just ask Ford to bring back the first car too cause those are better than the new cars we have now.

Windows XP never even used the logo that's on the damn gravestone picture you're using

Yes it does.

Oh man I miss ENIAC so badly
Those were the good days
Nothing else compares

Windows XP still exists?

who the hell is contacting windows support anyways.

My experience with Windows support:
Me: "Yeah my Windows machine isn't recognizing my LAN connection."
Support: "How long ago did you purchase your copy of Windows?"
Me: "Uh... 2 or 3 years ago."
Support: "Alright, that'll be $99 for any technical assistance."
Me: "Okay, bye."

...no? I'm fine with my modern UI, faster system, and framework support...

I do not miss XP even a little bit, Windows 7 is aeons ahead of it as an operating system. The new taskbar is genius.

Okay, addendum: I do miss the old Windows Movie Maker. It's really unstable on W7.

back when i had my old xp desktop, i thought that win7's new "aero" effects would be overrated

Aero isnt just a pretty UI either

grab a window and shake it back and forth

hold the windows key and press the arrow keys

also the peek button on the lower right corner of the taskbar

Awesome, I never even knew that you could do this. I did know about the 3D preview thing, but this is also pretty cool thing which is probably not well known.

OT: Sorry OP, as good as XP was for it's time, it's really time to move on and let go of it. Sure it's nostalgic for some but it really is just old now to be really using.
