Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over Ear Pro Headphones
Weird name, sure, but they're what I'm wearing now, and they are great. Basically $60 headphones that sound like (non-Beats) $100+ headphones for $24. Best pair I've ever owned. You know they're doing something right when they can get 866 reviews and 4.5 stars.
Pretty comfortable, durable, replaceable wire (very handy), two wires included. The thin "mobile" wire didn't last me long, as I'm pretty rough with cords, but the thicker one is pretty durable. The sound quality is great. They blew a pair of $100+ Monster Products headphones out of the water, and (from what I could tell) sounded almost as good as a pair of Etymotics. I tested all three against each other personally. Highs are crisp, mids are good, and the bass is actually audible instead of just making your head vibrate.
Also, a nice feature of them is that they are loud enough to use as speakers in a fairly quiet setting. :P
I don't own these headphones in particular, but I can attest to Monoprice's quality. All of their stuff is priced pretty much wholesale iirc and they don't sell anything that isn't quality for the price. I've bought tons of stuff from them.
tbh 90$ headphones for an ipod is loving stupid
why? it's not like all headphones are the same. a $100 pair of headphones is more likely going to be better than a $20 pair of headphones, and a $200 pair of headphones will likely be better than a $100 pair, etc.
If you want better features with your headphones than you can get for $20, then there's nothing wrong with paying $90, $200, or even $1000+ for them.
Now, I'm not saying price always equals quality, beats by dre are an infamous example of that not being true, but if you're buying from trustworthy brands then chances are the difference between price and quality won't be that far off.
