anyway i can introduce myself, ask how you're doing, and then answer for myself. I can also somewhat state that I ate dinner (wow so helpful), and now I can thank the person I'm talking with: arigatou gozaimasu
although memrise is a good site for beginners, if you want to master japanese you should use some real software.

Thats really not any interest to me, I'm more about their books + pretty much everything else
Regular text books, mangas or /those/ mangas?

Or you could get someone to teach you. My mom taught me italian and my dad english.

Mangas (but older ones. Osamu Tezuka is a good example) and their regular text books. I need to read more, and plus, Japanese is just a lovey forgetin language.

Spice and Wolf is a very good manga IMO. Just make sure your parents don't see it. They'll get the wrong idea.

I read MW and I'd never let anyone loving see it. There's just so much forgeted up stuff in that book. It's really good though.

I've been thinking about learning French, but I've a lot going on at the moment and don't have the time. -_-
Maybe when summer comes around...

And I've a mediocre understanding of Japanese.
Basic sentence structure + syllabaries + couple hundred vocab words (mostly useless stuff like "yuka" [hardwood floor] lol)
Only know a few Kanji though. I'm about as much as a first grader. :p

edit

I have a pretty decent Quizlet folder with a bunch of basic Japanese terms if anyone wants it
haven't updated it in like a year, though, but I might this summer

There's a lot of Music Theory terms on my page as well
