Icon won't change?

I tried to change my icon, but it wouldn't work, and I don't mean that it gave me the "this stuff is too big" error, it just won't change, even after I cleared my cache from the last hour.

the forum is really weird about this stuff. sometimes it changes immediately. sometimes it takes a week. and it rarely changes at the same time for everyone

I changed my avatar from the normal ferret to this flyers themed once during the second to last Flyers playoff game (RIP)

Days later people were still seeing the old ferret, although some saw the new Flyers themed ferret.

Now that weve been eliminated Ive tried multiple times to change my avatar back to my old one and it gives me this error:
