I figure that there are a lot of different subgenres of metal as well, and I also figure you prefer some of those subgenres more than others, no? It's fair to say you like metal as a whole but it's unlikely that you like all kinds of metal songs equally. Subgenres in EDM share the same purpose, so it's not completely fair to say something like this.

What's wrong with liking specific brands/models/makes/etc.(????) of cars? (I'm not a car aficionado either, but that's a pretty dumb example.)

Lincoln I know is a luxury car, lambo + bugattis I'm not so sure, may just be sports cars for the overly rich
