Author Topic: If you fix a problem, post the solution  (Read 2014 times)

This doesn't happen very much, but it's still irritating. Occasionally somebody will post a help topic and fix the issue without help from anyone else. When this happens, they'll say they fixed it and then lock the topic. Please don't do that. If you fix a problem without someone's help, explain how you fixed it before locking the topic. This way if someone has the same issue they can see how you fixed it. I've seen this happen on multiple forums and hopefully we can have it stop on this forum.

Badspot's latest post in this section tells me I should bump this

Post the solution.  Christ I'm going to start banning people for this.

Additional bump since I've been seeing this more.

This probably needs to be pinned.

it's pretty stupid how badspot has to go in every thread just to say "Post the solution" and half the time people don't respond, stop being so lazy people. :(

i don't think people actually know that their thread been unlocked.

I'm pretty sure they get an email notification whenever an admin says something in their post.

Also, if you see this happen, report it. Badspot won't do anything if he's not aware of it.
