Xbox Live 1 month redeem code not working

Seriously pissed. I spent $11 on something that won't loving work. I'm entering in the 25 digit code and it still won't do anything. It's even correct. I can't go to the loving xbox live site to redeem it because you have to sign in and I don't know my password and you can't find out your password without signing in with your loving password.

God damn Microsoft. This is such a pain in the ass. It should just be "if the code doesn't work go on the website,  if you don't know your email go to settings."

Because I couldn't get into my account? Plus, it's a legitimate company, they sell stuff like that. I looked them up too.
