and this one has the same type of clip

all there is, is a clip and a strap and when you put them together you get a circle and there's nothing else to clip it into.
why is it there?  is it for looks?

i think that's for holding small bags like purses for easy transportation
or carry-on bags if they have a handle that is a loop instead of a T

"hey guys, look at me I'm a clip"
"what do you do?"
"nothing, forget you"

To clasp it around things, like small bags or umbrellas or whatever else you can think of.

just improvise lol
you don't have to use it for it's unknown intended use
but yeah it's probably for holding small bags and stuff like i said and like sir dooble said

It's not so useful for when putting it on a plane, since you can't have bags attached to it when it goes to be stored.
But if you're pulling the suitcase through town, then you can use it to clip the handles of your other bags and items, so that you're pulling all your bags in one place, rather than pulling a suitcase and holding on to a carry on and other items.

It's just to make travel easier by saving you from holding lots of things.
