upload it to an image hosting site
put img tags
put URL inside img tags

Upload your image to imgur.

Once you upload it and view the picture click it again until the webpage is just the image.

Paste the url into the reply, hilight it and click the image button.

Imgur also gives a code for forums you can copy, as well as a linked version.

1) Upload to imgur
2) Rightclick -> copy image-URL
3)Past between IMG tags (E.g [im g]http://yourpic.png[/img] (without space))
