Author Topic: Amazon Japan Leaks iPhone 6 - $1300!!  (Read 2596 times)

Guys. Please realize that electronics prices vary from country to country. I know, for example, that tech costs 50 - 100% as much comparatively in India as it does here. I'm not sure about Japan, but I have heard from someone who stayed there that stuff is often quite a bit more expensive there. Anyway, they jumped the gun with releasing it; maybe they messed up with the price too.

I thought, generally, as hardness (scratch resistance) went up, brittleness also went up.

As I read about synthetic Sapphire on Wikipedia I realize how it doesn't apply here.
Often this is the case, but not always. It has to do with the elements' atomic and molecular makeup.

yeah but nearly every mobile device apple has made has stuff durability and I'm not expecting this to be much different

take a look at this

True, probably will be a lot less in US, but still iPhones will no doubt have their overpriced tag of $800 for the best one.

I like the iPhone and all bit it should be like $600 for the best one.

First, let me point out that this is the US-spec phone on Japanese Amazon. Of course the US -spec phone is going to cost more in Japan. I'd assume there's probably a 50%+ markup. So this would actually be $850. Then, this is the most expensive version. Usually there's a 16, 32, and 64gb version of the iPhone with a $100 gap between each. So, $750 for the 32, and $650 for the 16.

This is the current chart for the iPhone 5ses without a SIM card.

Either that's a huge coincidence, or I was dead loving on.

who in the hell  buys a 1300 dollar phone that has a fixed storage?

Oh hey look they made it again.

it is unbelievable how much elitism there is over phones and computers
status symbols will be status symbols

i like apple and I ain't buying this thing for stuff
