I respectfully disagree. Mechanical keyboards are a lot more comfortable to type on and have a longer life on average.

it takes like a minute to readapt to a different keyboard and beyond that, it's a keyboard, what does it matter

If you're fine with rubber dome keyboards, that's perfectly alright and I'm not trying to convert you to mechanical. My point is that there are differences between the two and there are certain advantages that would make it worth the extra investment into mechanical keyboards.

My keyboard has a metal plate that causes the entire thing to weigh 5lbs, so it hurts if I swing it at someone.
