Many singers use lip sync if a problem arises, like if they are sick or hurt.

So do you think lip sync should be allowed in singers if conditions are bad?

Ne it's a disgrace, people are paying to see you sing, not lip-sync.

If you have as little dignity as Brittney Spears at least try to pull it off without us noticing.

Ne. Its disgusting how you would pay money from your own wallet just to see someone lie about their singing by lip syncing.

i think a lot of people pay for concerts to see the person theyre paying for commit to entertaining them organically.  i dont really wanna speak on behalf of concert goers but if i bought tickets for britney spears i'd want her to perform on some real stuff and not the fugazi ass lip sync business

Singing over a pre-recorded track sure, and I could even see complete lip syncing if you were sick or something. But career-wise its a bad move.

Only if they are sick, and even then, they better have mono or some stuff or else no.

If they're really sick if they lip sync they could at least focus on keeping there energy up to excite the crowd. The point of a concert isn't just singing, it's also the hype, the excitement, and seeing your favorite artist bounce around on stage and talk directly to you, the audience.

I wouldn't pay for some stuff performance because the singer is sick, so she/he focuses on trying to keep their voice nice to no avail, and because of the focus on the singing the energy level of the performer is sub-par. forget that.

that's not actual musicianship
I don't go to performances for recordings

i guess its fine if you're sick and it's effecting your ability to perform. honestly if i was in that position i would look at the possibility of canceling whatever performance i was scheduled for while sick and just refund people instead of lip syncing. it should be a last resort thing
