Authentication: Validating Key...

Blockland has been working fine for many years but today I just played it for the first time in two weeks and it's stuck saying "Authentication: Validating Key...". My internet is working fine and the server list comes up but I can't join any servers. I have Blockland on the steam version. I've been letting it run for a good 20 minutes so far and its still saying that it's validating. :(

I forgot to say that I have checked the firewall, it's not blocking BL.

I downloaded normal BL and put my key in and it's stuck on validating as well! Does anyone have a solution to this???

sorry for posting multiple times on my own post but i just opened blockland on my old laptop and it works fine.

oh turns out some parental controls program was not allowing access to blockland
