Author Topic: I created a light-activated tone generator.  (Read 923 times)

here is a brickman assignment:

make it change tone based on how light or dark it is
or by color
do you have a color sensor?

What kind of fancy breadboard is that?

is this for telling when it is night time and or day time?

Oh man my brother has had one of these for years, fun times

Damn my dad bought me one of those long ago, when i was like....9?
Much fun was had

What kind of fancy breadboard is that?
It's a kit that comes with everything on that, plus a ton of individual components, wires, and a few books on projects you can make

Here was one of my favorite things to do:
Create a clock with the relay (you could use the 555 or some transistors, but relay is easiest to remember) by hooking +12v to the input, NC to coil, and capacitor across both coil leads
Connect the other coil lead (the opposite you connected to the NC) to one of the leads of the small coil of the transformer, and the other lead of the small coil to ground
Then touch the two leads of the other coil
:D

Holy stuff thats the same exact one I had YEARS ago. Whats the name of it? I was wanting to find it again. I was too young to really take full advantage of it.

Whats the name of it?
It says what it is in literally the first second of the video

haha nice i still have the exact same set from a long time ago

try making the second one control the amplitude, as the first one already controls the frequency
