Author Topic: Looking for IEM's (In-ear earbuds)  (Read 599 times)

Posting here since reddit's purchase advice thread has ignored me for 5 days straight

I'm looking for the best damn IEM's that 100$ can purchase. I want them to have subwoofer-ey bass if possible, but I also want clear highs. I also need them to be durable, as I'm sort of rough on earbuds. Last thing I need is to spend 100$ and then they break 6 months later.

SOL Republic Amps HD. I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised by them. Excellent in ears.

Why... Would you spend $100 dollars on some earbuds?

never refer to them as "IEMs" in real life ok

Because some people care about their music not sounding stuff.

My friend had some relatively cheap skull candys that came with a life warranty. Every time they broke he just replaced them. Probably not what you're looking for but it was a great investment in my opinion.

Why would I? IEMs doesn't exactly roll off the tounge.

I recently bought a $25 pair of IEMs and they sound great as far as I can tell. Nice crisp highs though not a lot of bass unfortunately

I have iems. They always feel like they're going to fall out

I bought a new pair of Bose sie2i's for $140 and I'm in love. I had the $100 pair of bose earbuds before and both are amazing headphones for music
