My parents went through a bankruptcy and the only things that really happened are that they lost all guns, jewelry and their credits are in the tanker.

Its not easy to get good credit back. Thats pretty much the only bad part about bankruptcy.

i figure anyone who gets themselves in a situation where they have to go bankrupt or default on a debt, they are no longer credible people. thus no credit.

why should people who cant pay bills on time be allowed to take out loans? i cant imagine a perspn who had been in that mess even wanting to do it again.
