this is how my desktop looks right now
i got rainmeter because ooo shiny things and now i made it look nice

If you're gonna use rainmeter, use a different theme to go along with it.
Example(Yes, I know it's ugly but it's a good example):

Too bright IMO. But color is up to you. If you like bright colors then who am I to say it's bad.
As for the rainmeter, it reminds me of a conky I used to use on my Linux computer. (conky is pretty much rainmeter for Linux)
You are still using the default Windows 7 aero theme though.
