Author Topic: San Francisco Earthquake  (Read 2054 times)

I will likely be dead if my big one hits. I'm about 100 miles north of the New Madrid fault zone (caused the gigantic hell of earthquakes of 1812-13). It is rarely active so any vibrations are far apart, but when they happen, they can travel for thousands of miles (thousands of times worse than the San Andreas). If 1812 repeated (or was worse), even places as far as Kansas and South Carolina will be rocked. It was bad enough in Charleston, SC in 1812 that church bells were ringing. Places such as St Louis, Memphis, and Louisville will be completely and utterly *expletive*ed.
