How do I install the avatar icon?

How do i install the avatar icon? I've got a avatar but how do i put it on the forums and what format dose it have to be? Please reply.

Go to profile,then forum profile settings or something like that,press"I will upload my own picture",select your avatar(must be in png format,maximum size is 75x75),and there it is.

Not JUST png; gif and jpg work too.
