How it works

This is a simple Adding Machine, it was very laggy when completed.

Each section is a full adder, the light and number is the Sum.

Download links for those who wish to try it:

And I just made a new one, its compacted.

It uses a simple control panel to send functions to the circuits.

The cover contains numerous stacked circuits to perform operations.

The functions exit the box and finish the circuits to create a blue light over the sum.

I spent three hours on this because Instead of using Prebuilt Adders and Full Adders I tried to make it as small as possible and connect the stacks somehow.

It was fun to make, but it got boring after. Any suggestions to make?

Looks good, but maybe work on compacting it?  At least the inputs and display.

Sounds like a plan.

looks good as it is, for the people who don't know how to do such things in bl, we can learn off of this since it's all spread-out

that would be useless

that would be useless

How so?  Development in technology, and computers especially ever since the first room-sized computer was made, has been to compact the technology into a more portable or lightweight unit.  Compacting op's calculator into something that doesn't require too much effort to walk among inputs and that displays the outputs in a smaller, single-glance would make the calculator better to look at and use.

I might just compact the controls, and keep the circuits like they are.

I enabled "Brick_ExtraLogic" and the green circuits wouldn't work.

I tried using fillcan to repaint it all a different color and my Blockland froze.

Finished a compacted version, you can use it on my dedi server.

any ideas of how I might be able to add RAM to this?

regarding compacting it

get on my level

...unless of course using complete full adders doesn't count.

I know I could use full adders, but I like how it looks so big.
