High ping only on Blockland servers?

I have a ping that spikes up to 221 when playing Blockland, however is in the 40s on other games.

The servers are primarily hosted in America. So if you're European, it's normal that you've got a high ping.

Then he's joining European servers instead of American ones.
Try find servers closer to you, if ping is so high even with rather local servers, something is definitely wrong.

I am joining american servers such as my friend's, who lives 2 states away and this happens.

I use ATT, same with my friend. I doubt that every server I join would have bad internet. I've had problems on my side before, and this is actually the 4th router we've had to get because of ping issues on other games. They sent us a new model other than the traditional NVG510 which fixed pretty much everything but Blockland ping.

Sometimes having your bandwidth consumed by other downloads can lead to a higher ping.
