NASA has been doing tons of stuff in the past 20 years.

I swear to god, I was going to laugh at the plebs that don't know the federal budget process, but stuff son, don't dis NASA.

At least I didn't deny the moon landing.

I guess finding a dead micro-organism on mars is a big milestone because it confirms that life did exist on another planet.

Some big milestones I would like to see:
First man/women to leave the solar system
First people to land on Mars
Space Station outside of our solar system.

I will most likely be dead to too old and senile for when those things happen.

The moon landing was pretty much their sole achievement at the time. By then the USSR's space program was put on a lower priority and the space race pretty much ended there. Since then we have just been sending people up into space with shuttles to a station.
