Author Topic: Blockland Forums Avatar NOT updating (Read 1007 times)

Hey!

I have a very quick question, I'm not sure if this belongs in Off-Topic or the Help board.
But for a VERY long time now I have had NO profile picture for my forum account. Every time I change it I don't see anything.
Look's like a little file, piece of paper in the the upper left hand corner of my profile. If anyone know's how to fix this please let me know.

Make sure it's the right size which I'm probably wrong but I believe is 64x64

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I thought it was 500 by 500?

Like I said I'm probably wrong I set my avatr and was lucky it was small enough

I cropped it down to a 64 by 64 and it told me this..
"Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information."

It's a regular .png file. Orignally 500 by 500.

Okay, so I changed the size to 100 by 100. It went through, but my avatar still has not changed.

Max size is 75x75.

I cropped the photo to 75x75 Pixels and it told me this again.

My connection speed is above average, I'm not sure what's going on.
This issue has reoccurred for the past 2 years now.

I think it may be the file size, even though it's the right size. How do I reduce the file size?

I have heard people say to make it 74x74, but it seems like you already got it working. Did you do anything special?
