Author Topic: Blockland cancels sound for me w/ headphones  (Read 1104 times)

/title

To be more specific, when I usually start up blockland with my headphones in, the sound is normal. But when I take them out, and plug them back in, they appear to make no sound and cause a 2 second lag spike for me and just me in game when I host.

Is there any way in some kind of form for this to be ignored for Windows 7? I am still getting used to it of switching from a lower grade of the Generations.

Haaaaave you tried updating your sound drivers?

Does this involve opening the Computer?

If not, could you provide a Tutorial?

Unfortunately updating drivers is not simple. You can check windows update to see if there is an optional update available for your driver, however I doubt it.

Same concept, but sound. If you can re-create the issue it may tell you that it's discovered an issue under "Notes"

However this method may or may not give you enough information on your drivers, as such you can go to:
Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers
There you may find more than one device, if you do then go ahead and tell us what they are. If not myself, then someone else can direct you to a proper download for updating your sound driver.

I already have checked there. It's not in there. I checked the Sound Options for Volume and found a piece to it, but it did no good.

Nvm! Found the hidden driver and managed to get it working.

Locking.
