Author Topic: Why won't Vegas render 1080-30p?  (Read 383 times)

Whenever I'm rendering a video, I always choose "8 Mbps HD 1030-30p Video" and render it as a .wmv
I made a video today, and the video was in low-medium quality. I uploaded it to youtube and it was only available in 240p and 360p. Does anyone know how to fix this? The original video isn't low quality, it should look fine rendered in 1080p.

YouTube takes a bit to process the video and make it available in HD quality settings. Try looking again later to see if they appear.

If not, you may need to fiddle with the render settings directly instead of using one of the presets. I think my Vegas (well it's techincally called movie studio but it's the same thing lol) even has YouTube presets.

I do always view my videos after they render to make sure they came out in the resolution I wanted, though.

I ended up fiddling with Vegas a little bit and got it to render a decent looking video lol
thanks for helping
