Retrieving CD key through Steam?

I've been trying to retrieve my CD Key via Steam for dedicated server purposes, however it is stuck at "retrieving key". All of my other games I am able to retrieve the key. I have tried re installing Blockland as well as my Steam userdata as suggested on Steam forums. Any help?

The option to view your key isn't supposed to be there. If you bought the game through Steam you don't have a key.

Oh shoot. I guess I'm kind of screwed then. I wanted to run a dedicated server too. Ah well.

I needed the key in order to run my server and play on it aswell.

This has been a standing issue since the Steam release. Unfortunately, solutions are limited or non-existent. Unless you want to use a VPS or similar service, you may be stuck with either buying a key or simply hosting non-dedicated servers.

When Pecon's hosting service is complete and fully tested, that will certainly be a viable option if you're willing to spend a few coins.

I found the old key to my old blockland account. I think I may be in luck.
