Blockland does not start when launched from Steam

I just converted Blockland to Steam, but it seems it doesn't not even start up. My cursor will load for two seconds, and then it's as if it just gave up attempting to launch the game.

My normal Blockland installation launches/works fine.

there is no launcher.log

didn't realize a console.log was even made because it did not even get to opening the window.

Seems as if the problem simply went away. I restarted my computer a couple of times and it began to work.
