Author Topic: When i lower water it goes away  (Read 2028 times)

Hence the topic name, when i lower the water into a whole in the ground, the water
goes away so i can't make a lake. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Please help. It's the most annoying thing ever.  :panda:

Define goes away; are you lowering it too far? What happens?

Well I'm lowering it in to a good size hole in the ground and then only some parts show and it's all blotchy.

... that shouldn't happen.

Here are some pics:

If i go any lower than that my water disappears.

Can you help?

make the hole almost as large as the water block, and deeper.

You used bedroom as a base, didn't you? I did the same thing a while ago.

The terrain is the wrong scale, I can't remember the default size though. Either fix the terrain block scale or use slopes as a base.

I was having a problem with this on a map I'm making....

I read a day or two ago that make sure the terrain scale is a power of two (2, 4, 8, 16, 32.....) and make sure the positioning (the location in numbers) for the water block is a multiple of 8 (8, 16, 24, 32...just take a calculator and divide by 8 and change it until when it is divided by 8 it is a whole number...)

That is untested but will hopefully work...
