Yeah, pretty sure it would've went something like this:
Scammer: Open up "windows error log" and see all of error? All error bad
Scammer: Go to ourre website and download our virus program!!
Yeah and that's probably why they told him to turn his computer on.
I've gotten one of these phone calls before, guy with an indian accent, telling my family that we got hacked, then afterwards I just toke over the phone and hanged up immediately.
That was also months ago too.
It's funny because all of these calls are done in the same exact way and I don't see why anyone would believe them except of course people who aren't computer literate.
