you would only get it if you get fat from it and/or it's inherited. my mom has hypoglycemia and grandma has diabetes, so forget it.
you know nothing about this

a doctor told me that :/

i drink soda very rarely, but when i do its usually dr. pepper and that stuff is amazing
Urgh, cherry flavoured cola. Ew.

pop is water to me, because water makes me gag
Try something else, like fruit juice.
Or, you can get carbonated fruit-flavoured water instead.
They're carbonated, so you'll still be used to that fizziness. They're sweet and in a variety of flavours, but aren't overly strong.
They seem like a lemonade, but don't have much sugar in them. They're "less than 0.5g" of sugar per 100ml (I assume that they don't have to label the specific amount if it is below 0.5g) and <1% of an adult RDA per 250ml.
So, overall, they're pretty good for you, since they're mostly just water, yet they're fizzy and fruity.

well it'd have to be because the last time i drank water was like a month or so ago
This isn't actually an issue.

People make a big stink about how you should drink however much water a day, but that's not the truth of it at all.
The large majority of your water-intake, which you require for survival, comes from your food.
Provided you're not just eating dried cereal, you're going to get plenty of water.
Especially if eating vegetables and fruits, but even if you're eating say, cheap processed meats, because these are often bulked with water.

Are you driving it straight out of the sink?
Nope, but he is driving it right up the wall.

Am I the only one who really doesn't seem to feel the effects of sugar and caffeine?
Like, I don't even get a noticable buzz, nor does it mean I can't sleep.

And it's not from being entirely used to caffeine/sugar, because for the large part I don't consume much regularly (well, maybe sugar I do).

Idk how people can enjoy drinking soda daily like that. That stuff makes me feel groggy and tired. Preferred leisure time drinks for me are water, iced tea or beer.

i don't really have a taste for anything else lol. i'm not addicted to caffeine (i don't think), because i don't drink it to stay awake.

'Ehh, see, in regards to beer, I would be the opposite of you.
I don't enjoy drinking it (or much alcohol) regularly. It usually never has a great taste, and leaves me feeling groggy and tired.

Whereas cola, and other similar soft drinks (lemonades, and shandies, which I know contain some beer) I could drink daily. I don't usually, but I could. They're just comfortable to drink. The biggest downside for me is that they often leave my teeth feeling all horrible.

Yeah I guess it's all about tolerance and being used to the taste of alcohol, but health wise beer is a lot better for you than soda. A lot less calories and sugar in it, especially if you go for the local or homemade brews and not mass produced beer.

That's true.
And I suppose it's probably partly to do with the fact that the usual beer I drink recreationally on my own (or rather, I drink when my parents have purchased any), is a cheap low-volume lager.
And it's sorta nice, but also sorta tastes like stuff, in that way in which beers do.

I think I'd be a bit happier with a daily cider perhaps, because at the very least they can be sweeter and noticably fruitier.
And I like to insist that it counts as one of my five a day.
