keep going southwest along that blue line (i know what it is i just forgot what its called)

It's a small cold front. It'll be of no interest to our mission.

We continue down I-35 and arrive in Wichita, KS. We'll spend the night here. We must keep tabs on that low pressure system as it continues to slide in a southeast arc over the Rocky Mountains overnight.

Location:

I'm working on Day 3. I may need to create some images first.

Released the new images.

This map shows the new location of the low pressure system. The associated cold front was made a bit too long, but it won't hurt anything.

I threw together a convective outlook for today. Nothing too interesting is happening, but we still have time to move around.

Do we need to do anything? You don't need to be a member of the squad in order to make a suggestion for our next move.

Early morning convective outlook for April 15 is released. A moderate risk of severe weather is expected to occur in western Nebraska and small portions of Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Any severe activity could happen outside of the highlighted area as well. We aren't too far away, so I'd suggest we head north?

Input on the developing situation?

head in the direction of orange

We take Highway 81 out of Wichita en route to Nebraska. In the middle of nowhere, we take US-24 to KS-9/US-281. After that, we use US-183 to get up to Kearney, NE and take I-80 to Ogallala, NE. US-26 and US-385 takes us to Alliance, NE.

It is 2:30pm when we arrive, and the air is warm and humid. The radar is showing some development to the northwest. Silver cumulus clouds are covering the sky in our area.

Stay tuned for radar images.
