Author Topic: Tsunami warning issued for coastal cities of japan after 6.9 earthquake  (Read 2079 times)

r.i.p. japan.
They really need to move more inland.

The waves will be 3 feet high at the most. I doubt there will be deaths.
Are you serious? Tsunami waves can be well over 10 feet high, let alone 3. And there will be deaths, these waves have half of an ocean behind them.

Looks like someone has never had 3 feet of ocean hit them.

I remember right after the 2011 tsunami, I found the Wikipedia page for it and some dipwad completely screwed it up writing things like "USA USA USA" and "ROFL" all over the page.

You don't know what a tsunami's like, do you?
When they say 'wave', it's an understatement. It's more along the lines of the entire ocean in an area suddenly rising X number of feet. Getting hit by something that has enough force behind it means it doesn't matter what height it is: You're still getting knocked over at the very least, if you're lucky.

No I mean no one is going to stand on the shores and wait for a tsunami to hit.
To avoid the wave all you have to do is walk up a hill.
So no, no one will die.
