[MEGATHREAD] Game Grumps: Completionist split takes alternative to GG split

Not really related to Game Grumps but I figured I'd put this here since Jirard is a friend of the Grumps and I can't find a related thread.

Greg Wilmot of The Completionist is leaving TOVG and The Completionist. The departure has been more than messy. Sort of reminiscent of the GG split in terms of fan reactions.

I was going to put this in the JonTron thread but I figured a lot of the discussion about this will be comparing this to the Game Grumps split, so go ahead and put that discussion here.

Apart from the main post, and the big one under it, there isn't really much into the whole breakup that I could see, especially since Greg deleted a whole ton of tweets.

They haven't said what really happened outside of "business disagreements" but it's obviously been pretty serious to cause this much of a mess.

I know Jirard said he didn't want people to turn this into conspiracy grumps but I just want put my little theory in.
Since a lot of people didn't like Greg on the show, I believe Jirard wanted to take him out of the show since it was affecting views and that idea didn't really end diplomatically.

While I can understand your reasoning of not wanting this to turn into a conspiracy thread, I would agree with you on that one.
Aside from the parts where he actually talked normally and talked about a game or stuff behind it, he didn't really provide much to the show.
