Server does not respond to connecting clients

This problem persists for me, and according to the server list, other people too. Does anybody know how to fix it?

Nope, I never found a fix. I just gave up and switched hosts.

Instead of using my actual external IP when I forwarded to 28000, I used 0.0.0.0

You don't think it's a coincidence but I know it's a coincidence. This is a configuration problem on your end.

Something you can try is to restart your router by unplugging it, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in. Then start your BL server. (UPnP should also be enabled on the server - there's no reason to turn it off)
