terraine collor at close up

how do i make the terrain color at close up be the same as when you look far away. I paint the ground in mission editor one color or desine but when i look at it when i  stan on it its just regular old grass color

You need to change the detail texture from grass to something else.

It's an option on the terrain block.

were would i find the terrin block in the mission editor

on the top right corner top of f11>f3, theres a box. open he tabs up untill you find the terrain. expand all and it should be there
