Author Topic: so who here has heard of poetry out loud  (Read 1458 times)

Just out of curiosity, why?

I'm bad at every aspect of it (creating it, listening to it, writing it, understanding it, reading it, etc) and it is very boring (subjective, but works for my opinion) to read and listen to it.

"I'm bad at it therefore poetry is loving terrible."

Anyway, congrats Carol, hope you win nationals. :P

I tried writing a poem once

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I hate rhyming
Screw you too

No, we don't need innocent people seeing this cesspool, or joining it. :panda:

Nah I never heard of it, but that's great that you're going to the nationals! Considering how hard it might have been to get there in the first place, you might actually have a chance of winning and even if you don't, at least you can say you won the state and school competitions.
there was tough competition at the state finals (my runner-up is the guy who won last year, and all but one of the three who aren't advancing have been competing for 3 years), but all of my classmates forfeit on the school level.
