I can't remember if guild wars 2 had a monthly subscription after purchase.

It doesn't

I feel the need to become a mood-killer and point out what exactly you are referring to when you use the term "master race".  According to the poll, my only options are to associate myself with Riddler, or to associate myself with the peasantry who do all the hard work of society, so I'm going to go with consoles.

But deliberately literal over-interpretation aside, the term "PC master race" needs to die.

PC is a better long-term investment, in the long run you'll save more than console users, but that isn't immediately apparent due to the higher entry cost. Steam and GOG's sales however, drives the costs of games pretty low, and the sales are plentiful. It'll add up to less than what you'd spend on a console over its lifetime.

Consoles are a better short-term investment with their lower entry cost, however, the games don't go on sale too much and the sales aren't as drastic as on Steam or GOG, meaning you'll usually pay $50-$60 a game, adding up over time, plus the extra money you have to spend if you're on XBL or PSN for multiplayer.

It is yeah. They removed the subscription system, and it's now rebranded as "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited".

What makes me laugh is how there are people saying that WoW is trying to compete with ESO by implementing tokens. But there is no competition, ESO is literal garbage by comparison.

Also another thing, the "PC Master Race" thing was pretty much a satirical joke until a bunch of idiots took it seriously and took it too far.

this applies to a LOT of dumb things that people still argue about for real and it's getting so ridiculous it's not even funny

I still play PC and Console, Certain games I prefer on the console but others I enjoy better on the PC.
