I wonder if they'll extend it past six episodes if it does well, I liked the original series. It's nice to see the same actors are coming back. I also hope they don't change the show a whole lot though, it's only been 13 years since the last episode aired.

Finally an announcement about this. I was starting to think it was all a hoax. Can't wait for my favorite tv series to return.

Duchovny said he will only come back for a limited amount of episodes. Him and Anderson are both busy working on other shows.
