I called it imgur because that's what the sites called
i call it gif because thats what it's called

google says its gif
https://translate.google.com/#auto/en/.gif

the dictionary says gif in the audio but in the pronounciation it says it can be either gif of jif
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gif

graphics interchange format
graphics, the g is a "guh" sound
interchange, the i is a "ih" sound
format, the f is a "fuh" sound
guh ih fuh
guhihfuh
gif
gif :)

ya theres stuff like
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBtKxsuGvko
and the creator says jif. but why? why not just say .jif
lets just change the word graphics to jraphics.

im not trying to argue im just saying how i say it, how anyone ive ever met says it.

HEY YALL WE ALL SAY STUFF DIF'RENTLY. THATS HOW YALL ALL BEEN LIKE.

Can we talk about the actual site instead of the prononcuation of gif now

you guys get way too worked up as to how other people say things. at least debate about something worthwhile...

but he made it so he gets dominion over how his creation is pronounced

Well, that article is just made up nonsense.

The most you'll get is "im-ger". There is nothing to get the "a" from.
