Author Topic: i don't need an adult for m rated games anymore  (Read 1861 times)

I went to my local Morrisons and they had skate 3, it was 16+

And usually I find a lot of games that should be 18+ when they're 15+ and 18+ games that should be 15+, and all that...

persona 4 should be T imo

I bought GTA San Andreas at Target by myself when I was 14. Cashier didn't give a forget for some reason.
they used to not give a stuff, but then there was some kind of incident where a mom got mad because a guy sold her kid an m rated game and a lawsuit followed

so now they card everyone and make them have an adult approve before they can purchase it.

It's like Castle Crashers, it's a 16+ but should really be a 7+ or maybe in the extreme, a 12+

the ratings arent legit anyways. esrb is just a group of companies that got together to try and force retailers into their own standards to help control the resell of used games. (another relic of loving console gaming that still ruins gaming today...)
but it obviously failed once games started going digital years later.

now they just use it to force games to HAVE a rating or else retailers are bound to refuse to sell it.
ratings are also falsified (gamergate anyone?)
so the scam is, force false meta scores by buying ratings. every game has a rating since no dev can sell their game without one, unless they risk lower sales from being independent.

obviously any game can have a meta score. but the ones that cant/dont have the esrb ratings dont matter anyways. in fact they may have legit scores XD
why didnt you just say the jews

ESRB ratings are pretty stupid IMO. Luckily, my parents let me play all the M rated games I want.

Oh i can buy M rated game now, lol
