Author Topic: YouTube Thumbnails keep showing up blank  (Read 884 times)

This has been pissing me off. I just installed Windows on my new SSD and decided to use Firefox instead of chrome. But now half the time when I search stuff up most of the thumbnails are blank. It can't be firefox's cache or whatever because I just installed the damn thing and still have plenty of storage left. Is anyone having the same problem I am? And if so is it Youtube being handicapped or Firefox?

I have been having the same problem today.

Okay this is really starting to piss me off. The thumbnails don't show up when I refresh, the only way for it to not be forgeted up is for me to copy my URL, then paste it into another tab. I'm going to try Chrome and see if it's doing this bullstuff as well.

it's been doing it for me as well

might just be a temporary problem

Chrome does this as well. So my guess is YouTube is just being a steaming pile of stuff as usual.

yeah seems like a lot of people are having this problem today

come on google!! jeez!!

they deleted all of youtube its gone

Jesus it's getting worse.

It's bad enough that Google wants us to watch a bajillion ads before a 20 second video, now their stuffty site doesn't even work

if you don't like them don't loving watch them

I get the problem across multiple sites including YouTube, Facebook and several forums if I come across a large animated gif image. Depending on the size, it can be between 10 seconds to 20 minutes before other images load, even if I close the tab that was loading the offending gif.

Probably unrelated to your issue, but it might have to do with some of the other tabs you have open.
