Author Topic: Is there anyway to increase the timescale?  (Read 670 times)

I been wanting to increase my time scale over 2 because for faster building. Is there anyways to do that on blockland?

I am fairly certain that the engine limits it to 2.

Increasing it over 2 would be hard for building. Furthermore it causes double brick planting. I'm not sure if theres any way of increasing it as im sure it would've been made by now. You should post this in the suggestions and request topic and see if anyone can make it.

How would building be sped up by increasing the timescale? Moving and placing bricks happens as fast as you press the buttons.

/timescale 0.2 - 2
increase my time scale over 2
anyway i think pecon is right about this one but don't take my word for it

If you hold the buttons for a specific time then they'll automatically keep moving in that direction. Doubling the timescale halves that time, making it harder to move the brick precisely without it going all over the place.

If someone wanted to make their brick cursor impractically fast, why not just do it client side instead of meddling with timescales? Pretty sure you can just reduce $BrickRepeatTime, assuming the server doesn't have anything stopping you from planting too fast.
